This site is a personal portfolio. It is deliberately simple, and so is this policy: it describes only what actually happens here, not a generic template.

What this site does not do

There are no contact forms, no accounts, no logins, no payments, no shopping, no newsletter and no mailing list on this site. Nothing you do here adds you to any list.

What is collected

Server logs. The hosting provider (Hostinger) automatically records standard technical data for every visit: IP address, browser type, operating system, the page requested, and the time. This is used for security and troubleshooting, and is retained by the host under its own retention policy.

Technical cookies. WordPress and the LiteSpeed caching layer may set functional cookies needed to serve the page. No advertising, profiling or cross-site tracking cookies are used. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel and no third-party analytics on this site.

Accessibility widget. If you use the accessibility toolbar, your display preferences may be stored locally in your own browser so the site remembers them. That data stays on your device.

If you contact me

The WhatsApp button opens a conversation from your own WhatsApp account; the email link opens your own mail client. In both cases you initiate the contact, and I receive whatever you choose to send — typically your name, phone number or email, and the content of your message.

I use those details for one purpose: replying to that enquiry. I will not add you to a mailing list, a WhatsApp group, or any marketing campaign unless you explicitly ask me to. You can ask me to delete your details at any time and I will do so.

Third parties your browser reaches

Some pages load video thumbnails from YouTube and link out to YouTube, and some pages load fonts from Google Fonts. When that happens your browser contacts those services directly and they may log the request under their own policies. Clicking through to a video takes you to YouTube, where Google’s privacy policy applies.

Your rights

Under Israeli privacy law, and Amendment 13 to the Protection of Privacy Law in particular, you may ask what information about you is held, ask for it to be corrected, and ask for it to be deleted. Write to metaktek@gmail.com and I will handle it personally.

Changes

If this site starts doing something new — a form, a newsletter, analytics — this page will be updated before that goes live, and the date at the top will change.
